THE FIFTH COLLECTOR'S BOX OF THE "TODO TANGO CLUB" IS NOW SHIPPING
(Buenos Aires, Argentina) January 2, 2004 The Todo Tango Club is proud to
announce the official release of its fifth collector's box.
"De Caro's Four Seasons" and "Edgardo Donato: una orquesta con mucho ritmo"
are the new albums in the Club's exclusive collection that specializes in
hard to find tango material selected from the archives of the "Tango
Collectors Association of Buenos Aires". Thank to its members' support, the
Todo Tango Club is preserving Tango's Heritage by digitalizing and
remastering Tango's most comprehensive collection in the world.
"Julio De Caro Retrospective - De Caro's Four Seasons" revisits the
maestro¹s four ³seasons² in four different labels: Víctor, Brunswick, Odeón
and Pathé. The album starts with an historical gem... a 1925 acoustic
recording of De Caro's "Buen Amigo", and is followed by 14 rare and
exquisite tracks that guide the listener through De Caro's wonderful career.
"Edgardo Donato: una orquesta con mucho ritmo" offers 16 wonderful tracks,
bringing the wonderful rhythm of Edgardo Donato's Orchestra to the Todo
Tango Club collection, so listeners will be able to "visit" Buenos Aires in
the 40's if they just close your eyes and turn the music up. In the early
30¹s Donato - A MEDIA LUZ' gifted composer - pushed a rhythm style that
helps us understand a related style that was developed later by Juan
D¹Arienzo.
The new Deluxe Collector's box includes an 8 page booklet with comprehensive
information and commentary by Ricardo Garcia Blaya, a Tango expert and the
site's director.
Starting in early 2003 to support the TodoTango.com site, the TODO TANGO
CLUB is quickly adding loyal Tango enthusiasts to its following.
The Club offers members a chance to help maintain TodoTango.com online and
preserve Tango masterpieces forever while it offers lots of benefits such as
a member certificate that acknowledges the contribution, 12 exclusive CDs a
year in deluxe collector's boxes, discounts of up to 50% at La Tienda (Todo
Tango's Gift shop) and more.
Tango lovers all over the world can help us save Tango by signing up to the
