The Providence All-Night Milonga is Back!

For those who don't know, in May the Providence Tango All-Night Milonga was
shut down by our local Police Department. In response to our request for
help to the world tango community we received about 200 letters and names
people which we submitted to our local government. At first it didn't seem
to make any difference, but with time the city officials began to realize
that Tango Dancing does not pose any real threat to the well-being of the
city. Late last week the politicians in charge decided to allow us to
continue the Providence All-Night Milonga with only minor restrictions.

So, the Providence Tango All-Night Milonga is Back! This month (Oct) we
will still have the All-Day Milonga from 3-11pm on Oct 23rd, but on the
4th weekend of November the All-Night Milonga will be back. For New Years
we will have a party with 20 hours of non stop dancing (9pm on the 31st to
5pm on the 1st, DJs Robin Thomas and Ben Bogart). See Tango-A or write us

Thank you once again for all of your support. Without the help of people
in the tango community at large we wouldn't have been able to ever
reinstate the Providence All-Night Milonga.
