Subject: Recommended Instructors in Milonguero Style: Susana Miller

A week ago I sent a message to the list requesting recommendations for
instructors in milonguero style. I would like to thank those of you who
have responded. As I expected, I received numerous different
recommendations. The 17 respondants recommended 14 different instructors,
including 2 self recommendations. Ordinarily, I would not share such a
hodgepodge of information, but what was surprising was that over half
(9/17) of the respondants recommended Susana Miller, with no other
instructor getting more than 3 recommendations. Perhaps this is due in
part to exposure. There was also one very unfavorable response about
Susana Miller. Nevertheless, this strong agreement among respondants
provides good guidance for someone wanting to learn milonguero style
tango. I think providing recommendations of this type are a very useful
function of TANGO-L.
