Tango Asheville
is proud to present three Argentine Tango workshops by
Manuel & Ronda Patino, excellent teachers and dancers from Atlanta. Please
join us for these workshops and a milonga that we will host in their honor
on the weekend of September 22 & 23.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

Workshop #1: TANGO FUNDAMENTALS
2:00 to 3:15 pm
Take your first steps of Argentine Tango or review your basic skills.

Workshop #2: CONTINUING TO BUILD YOUR DANCE
4:00 to 5:15 pm
Combine the movements of tango so as to emphasize rhythm and flow.

MILONGA: An Argentine Dance Party
8:00 pm until ??
Enjoy great tango music, dancing and refreshments.
Featured are two exhibition dances by Manuel & Ronda (around 9:15).

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

Workshop #3: DYNAMICS
2:00 to 3:15 pm
Utilize the energy of the couple as you learn more complex movements.

Note: You are welcome to come solo or with a partner.


Cost: $15 per workshop -- Milonga: $10
All inclusive package: 3 workshops and milonga $45
Saturday package: 2 workshops and milonga $35

Manuel & Ronda have traveled throughout the world to study and dance the authentic Argentine Tango. Their teachers include many of the great =
tango masters, including Cecilia Gonzalez, Nito & Elba Garcia, as well as Pablo Veron, Fabian Salas and Gustavo Naveira who were all featured =
in the acclaimed film "The Tango Lesson." Manuel & Ronda's workshops are known for being valuable, interesting, well organized and enjoyable. =
They have taught classes and workshops at various art and educational institutions such as the Atlanta Ballet and Emory University. They =
perform weekly at local restaurants, have participated in shows throughout the Southeast, have danced at special events such as the =
Governor's Inaugural festivities and are often invited by various businesses and organizations to represent the tango as a way to honor =
dance, diversity and the Latin culture.
