Subject: Tango in Hungary - comprehensive source for information on milongas etc.

Dear Tango-L Members,

Since this kind of info is published both here and on Tango-A, I took
the liberty to send it both ways. I hope I am not offending anyone.
(note: the site hosts all kind information about tango and are
maintained as a hobby)


With considerable effort we have collected all information we could on
tango events, milongas, courses, performances, concerts etc. in Hungary
(Central-East Europe). Most events and programmes are in the capital:
Budapest.

Although the website is not yet 100% complete, all milongas and tango
events are there and are up-to-date.

Practically, Milonga.hu is now the only website that hosts this
information, as the former https://tango.hungary.org/ is no longer
updated (UPDATE YOUR LINKS)!!! It will change into a new site with more
static content. (Laszlo hasn't made up his mind about it yet :)

Soon (few weeks) there will be maps and directions how to get to
milongas and also information on teachers, courses, tango orchestras,
performers and other tango artists in Hungary (with contact details).

The tango scene in Hungary is realtively small, but growing. We have 4
regular milongas and at least 1-2 other tango events a month. If you are
planning to visit Hungary, you will find all the required information on
the website - or if you don't just write to the webmasters (e-mail on
front page) and we will help (and/or expand the website).

We also have guest teachers from other countries holding workshops
(mainly Argentina and Holland) 3-4 times a year.
