Gisela Galeassi (20) and Gaspar Godoy (19) from Villa Carlos Paz, Cordoba,
one of 137 couples who competed in the Primer Campeonato Mundial de baile de
Tango (stage division) on Thursday, March 6, 2003, in Buenos Aires. They
received the prize of $3,500 (pesos) and the opportunity to dance on stage
at the Teatro Colon. They intend to use their prize money to travel to
Spain in June to participate in a tango festival.

The finals of the tango salon division will take place on March 9 with
entrants from Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Germany,
Switzerland, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Spain, Japan and China.
