saying this will make Sergio call me a "feminist,"
which is a name he uses for women he disagrees with.)
Dear Marisa I call a feminist "somebody who advocates equal rights for
women; " since we are discussing vocabulary: a feminist is called a
"women's rightist, women's liberationist, libber."
Somebody who believes in the social, political, and economical equality of
the sexes. The movement organized around this belief.
I could not call that name anybody with whom I disagree because I think that
feminism is a just cause. I agree with its principles.
I do think that men and women are equal.
I have said in the past that women and men are equal but different in tango
as well as in life.
This seems to shake some people that think that men and women are equal and
not different.
Vive la difference!
