Randy,
I am assuming that you did it in BA. I am interrested in knowing how
the local taxi dancer reacted? After all, you are taking away
opportunities for them.
If it is not too personal, how did you end up taxiing in BA?
Search from anywhere on the Web and block those annoying pop-ups.

I don't think there is much of a market now for foreign taxi dancers now but
last year it wasn't very organized. As favor for a friend teaching he needed
taxi dancers for his clients and he could find enough dancers consistently.
Most of the guys he tried to recruit laughed at the idea. I helped with
translation and served as a taxi dancer until he found an Argentine, that
lasted two weeks. My friends and teachers were twisting my arm to do jobs in
BsAs. I don't think it ever crossed their mind I was taking a job from an
Argentine. I was a street performer for the circus school I was training at
in BsAs almost as a requirement. I actually mentioned why would someone come
to BsAs to dance with a Gringo and he laughed it is about the dance and if
you stay longer it won't matter where you came from we will rub off on you.
