Dear friends of tango-L,

I agree with Trina, we all give our opinion which is result of our own
particular experience.
In some way we describe a part of the elephant, although that part we
describe may vary enormously in size.:))

Everybody has the right to give his opinion, such an opinion if negative,
should not be automatically interpreted as an attack on a person , a teacher
or a dancing form.

We all know that none of us is perfect. We have to learn (this is not easy)
to accept people as they are with their virtues and their defects.

I, for one, again talking about my part of the elephant, am very grateful to
all those that taught me something . Most of them were good persons. Some
were extraordinarily generous.
When it comes to tango I learned something from everybody.

There is always some way of doing things that can be more interesting or at
least different. I am grateful to all of them.

As to Derik I certainly would like him to be part of my Tango Forum,( if I
had one ), and also Igor, and Michael and Trini and everyone else .
Everybody with his/her different perceptions and opinions, for this is what
makes life in general and this list in particular interesting. Derik brings
ideas and opinions that stimulate thought reevaluation and further
discussion.

Summary: the more we know about the whole elephant the more accurate our
vision of tango will be. As Derik says you better learn the language before
you come up with strange ideas. :))

Have a good evening, Sergio.
