I'm not sure if this is appropriate for Tango-L or not but I thought I would
ask.

In the spirit of these holidays, how beautiful it would be for the tango
community to give to people who have no connection to tango. I know all of you
donate as individuals to many charities but how about if each milonga donated
$1 per person attending between now and the New Year to help the people in
Nepal. Tango could change many lives even for people who've never heard of
Carlos Gardel.
