What an incredible energizer a good congresso is!

While chatting with people from around the world and hearing about their
tango communities, you get a sure sense that these events - and the Miami
Congresso in particular - have the effect of raising the level of awareness
and competence everywhere in subtle ways.

The mix of teachers and students at this year's event was wonderful.
Everyone I talked to agreed that there were better dancers in attendance
than ever.

The facility must surely be the best of any - what with the large ballrooms,
the pool and beach right there. And South Beach in Miami with it's art-deco
theme is great for strolling and shopping.

Randy and Lydia and their volunteers once again put on a first class week of
events.

I'm so grateful this event is staged every year. Can't wait for the next
one!

And thanks also to the Miami tango community for making us so welcome.
