i want to acknowledge and thank tom stermitz for
organizing such a wonderful event this weekend in
 denver.
 i couldn't believe what i saw, a room full of 200
people dancing the same style that they dance at salon
canning in buenos aires. i couldn't believe i was in
north america or that almost all of the people were
north americans. it was a dream come true.
it was also very interesting to take classes in estilo
milonguero with north american teachers for the first
time (for me). they made milonguero less foreign, they
understand where their students are coming from. i
also loved that they rotated partners frequently and
were generally organized in an american rather than
 an argentine fashion.
 congratulations all of you!

 WOW!!

Actually the above says it all and there is more to express that is difficult to put into words. That more comes from the "Heart" =
experiences I had with so many wonderful milongueras from all over the U.S. I am still on a high from the music, the dances, the interactions =
with so many men and women from Colorado and all over the U.S. Can we do it again this weekend?

Thanks to Tom, Lisa, Cammie, Elaine, etc, etc. Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Mercury Cafe. Thanks to all the dancers who took to heart =
dancing together in the line of dance so that a 100+ dancers at a time could enjoy each other on a relatively small floor. It did remind me of =
being in BsAs many times. Thanks to the musicians. Are you sure we can't do this again this weekend?

Many thanks to the teachers. The dancers listened. We learned and applied. What a compliment to how you taught.
 Do it more and more.

"Tango Heaven". Reached by me many times and by many others according to the conversations I had. My heart felt thanks to all the milongueras =
who danced and shared themselves so openly with me so that we could experience a bit of bliss. This has to be the world's greatest dance.

Let's dance again and again and again.......

Susan and I had planned to go to Denver, but a last minute conflictContinue to Tangasm Defined - Labor Day in Denver |
ARTICLE INDEXprevented us from doing so. It seems as though the Denver event is what
many of us hoped for when we began dancing tango. Here's hoping that the
increasing maturity of tango throughout the world leads to many more such
events, where the emphasis is on dancing.
