Thanks to Jennifer for her wonderful collection.

It was a blast. Gerald W. had such a great idea. Canšt I ever be
satisfied??? Now I mourn the dismantling and regret that our previous
weekends' weather was awful. I want to do this again and again!!! Well, we
will not see the likes of this but we will hit and run in other grand
places, surely!

It was quite appropriate that the authorities stopped us, we've been thrown
out of lesser places. Year's ago though, when I organized the Hit and Run
event under 72nd st, pretty near the first Hit and Run event, at night when
nobody would even go into Central Park at night (100 came-- this would equal
300 at least today) the police just smiled we looked so good---like royalty
in a country castle, but as some of you know at that time I did prepare a
button design that read: "Free the Tango 50" (expecting 50 at the most, of
course) just in case we ended up in the hoosegow.

So again, thanks to Jennifer. And to Gerald, long-time cohort in crime.
And Trey and Guy, and all.

Here again is Jenn's URL to view super duper series:

And this is perhaps but the beautiful tip of an enormous iceberg of photos.
I did get photographed a lot because of the hair. And one woman approached
and said "Are you she?"

Lucille, Jennifer,

Thanks so much for the photos and the memories. I'll never forget that night
under 72nd Street in Central Park. It was magical - remember the bicyclists
who began whizzing through and stopped, awestruck to find a banquet table,
complete with blazing candelabra and an elegantly dressed group of people
dancing tango to a live orchestra. Thanks to everyone who made that night
magical.

Wish I could have joined you at the Gates.

Recuerdos,

Robin
