On December 31 you can dance at Al Sur for $40.00 in advance or $50 at
the door. At Mocha Jo's for $35.00 in advance and $50 at the door, at the
Tangueria , its' $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door, at Royal Tango
its $25.00 at the door or in advance.
All are in areas with plenty of restaurants. The biggest floor and
crowd is Royal Tango with MIchel Auzat, from 110-130 people. followed by
that of the Tangueria with Paul Montpetit, then Al Sur with Lyne Renaud and
Mocha Jo the most intimate, with a comfortable maximum of 35-40 on the
floor at a time. As usual things depend on what kind of atmosphere and
crowd you want.
All places announce officially from around 9:00 to 3:00 The legal hour
serving alcohol and closing. But on New Year's the police usually turn a
blind eye.
On Sunday you can dance from 4:00-8:00 with Keith at Mocha Jo's and
cap it off with the Academie and Michel Auzat from 8:30-1:00. To consult the
