Dear Derik,

Having learned the dangers of assuming too much about
someone, I'd like to ask you something point-blank.

In 20 words or less, could you please tell us what
exactly you hope to gain by participating in this
list? Remember, 20 words, so please make each one
count.

And, please, no comments from the peanut gallery until
we hear Derik's answer.

Sincerely,
Trini de Pittsburgh

And just who are you to tell Derik that he can only use 20 words?

And just who are you to tell the rest of us "no comments"?

I am far from being a fan of Derik - this is not posted in his support - but just to say:

"for crying out loud please put a sock in it and give the rest of us a break. Get
a life and move on !!!"

Why? you ask...

A fisherman casts his bait or his lure into the water, for no other purpose
than to get a thrill when a fish takes it and fights against him. If the
fish stop taking his bait, the fisherman goes away.

Like catmum said, "Don't feed the trolls."

When Tango-L becomes a forum for drama of personalities, it strays from its
purpose and becomes boring to those who are interested in learning and
growing in our tango. Tango-LOL indeed.

Everyone has a right to be heard. Some have more
trouble expressing themselves than others.

I had requested no comments to avoid comments like
Jay's. Ironically, some who have publicly battled
Derik have promised me that they would keep quiet.

Perhaps my mistake was in assuming that those Jay and
John would take their own advice and use the delete
key.

Still waiting,
Trini de Pittsburgh

Do you speak for everyone, or is this the
royal "we?"

I tell you what, I don't know about anyone else
here, but if you were ever speak to *me* in such
a condescending manner, you'd better be dressed in
something really hot, and I'd better get off real good
by the time festivities are done.
