So I definitely make a distinction between someone tactfully saying no thank you & someone lying or whatever you want to call it. In the first case, ok & fine, I got the message. Dance with whomever you like, even that dance. I'm fine with that. In the second case, pointing at your back & saying "I can't dance, my back hurts" & then accepting another invitation seconds later right in front of me, is a different story altogether.
