Seeing so much posted about Tete, please go to https://www.tangonoticias.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&idg&Itemid=9 to see a recent interview with Tete and Silvia.

SALON TANGO IN THE CLOSE EMBRACE WITH TETE & SILVIA
Daniel is very proud to bring you two comprehensive videos of his foremost teacher of the close embrace salon style tango ("milonguero style" in Daniel's videos). Tete and his ex-partner Maria Villelobos were almost solely responsible for the tango world's shift to close embrace style salon dancing in the early 1990s. Filmed in 1999 in Buenos Aires.
Tete's focus has always been noted for his individual style of musiciality. His focus has always that to dance tango well you have to connect with the music. It is not about steps.
