Subject: Removing tables on the dance floor when dancing is really crowded
I know this is going to be a fun subject for some folks ;o) I was just thinking about how I like to dance & socialize at tango dances. I typically don't sit down much, preferring to dance a lot of the time, stand & visit some, scope out the floor, schmooze, etc. I don't order food or drink & sit at a table. At crowded dances (Tango, Swing, CW, etc) I've often moved a table back to free up say, 1/2 of the table's space on the dance floor & immediately it gets used by the dancers, for the rest of the night. So I figure, heck, just git rid of a bunch of tables or all of them & have chairs around the outside, the free'd up room is going to all get used by dancers, no question.
