The Danza Y Movimento CD of Candombes and Rhumbas is obvious. For my taste,
I'm not moved to want to dance to those Lomuto rumbas. But they are
interesting to listen to.

What prompted me to ask the question was a particular rumba, "En Un Bosque
De La China" by Jose Garcia y Sus Zorros Grises. It's more tango
tango/candombe than rumba rmnba.

The band sound reminds one of Demare, it's that good. From 2 different lp's
I have, I made this Garcia tanda:

Zorzal (milonga)
En Un Bosque De La China (rumba)
Cadombe Rioplatense (sp correct)

From here, I would choose at the time whether I wanted to remain with
candombe or go back into
milonga.

I would carefully choose the time to play this - but it's fascinating.
