Subject: Great interview with Robert Farris Thompson
Dear List:
I caught the NPR program, Afropop, tonight and it had an excellent
interview with the author of "Tango: The Art History of Love," Robert
Farris Thompson. I've read on the List about how good he is presenting
in person, and now those of us who can't catch him lecturing can hear
him at:

The link can also be found at afropop.org. There are lots of musical
illustrations for the points he is making.
I'm reading the book and greatly enjoying his scholarship and writing
style. Highly recommended!
