No, I was asking about San Francisco "celebration Tango" formerly known as
"Tango by the Bay".
I was wondering if others were as disappointed as I was?

This year "Bay Area Tango Association" did not run the event, It became
part of Noras' Tango week. I only attended 1 of the milongas of Noras'
week, and enjoyed it. It was Monday and the band was fresh. At Celebration
Tango the band seemed very tired and had been playing their repertoire over
and over all week. Maybe next year it could be run by a separate group, or
at least made different enough. The Marines' Memorial club/hotel is
beautiful, but the floor was too small, and crowded for this size event. It
was wonderful to see all the many teachers dance for us, although it took
up much time. Then there was a long video in tribute. Nice sentiment, but
again it took much time. then we were told after one dance that the next
was "last tango". I was very disappointed. I'm hoping that next year we
will return to the excellent "Tango by the Bay annual ball" that is worth
the money we spend.
