Dear All;
I'm looking for the milonga called La Espuela". Last year in BsAs
Geraldine & Javier used it for one of their shows and Los Reyes were
playing live. I learned from Javier, that originally D'Arienzo has
played it. I couldn't find anything about it in the internet. Does
anybody have an idea ?
Thanks in advance.....

La Espuela is an instrumental milonga by Guichini, recorded by D'Arienzo on
March 6, 1946. I do not know if it has been released commercially on a CD.

I checked several online resources: The tango store
<https://www.tangostore.com/>, Club de Tango
<https://www.clubdetango.com.ar/>, Danzo y Movimiento
<">https://www.danzaymovimiento.com/>">miento.com/>">https://www.danzaymovimiento.com/> and www.milonga.co.uk
<https://www.milonga.co.uk/>, and did not find any commercially produced
CDs that are currently available. I cannot offer any definitive statement
about commercially produced CDs that are out-of-print.
A google search on la espuela d'arienzo reveals two independent sources of
information on the web. One is d'arienzo's complete discography
<https://users.pandora.be/tangoteca/darienzo/jda_alpha.html>. The other is
my listing of classic tangos
<https://www.tejastango.com/classic_tangos.html>, which shows Mario CD #8
as a source for D'Arienzo's "La Espuela."

Hi all,
For those who are still interested (thanks to Ralph J H) the song 'la
espuela' was recorded by
La Espuela 2:36 by Juan D'Arienzo, to be found on "Juan D'Arienzo
1944/1949 Colección 78 RPM"
as seventh title.
More details can be found at https://www.milonga.co.uk/tango/darienzo.shtml
From what i remember, it is a fast milonga and quite interesting.
Thanks,
Neeraj
