unfortunatly there's a very sad reason for this posting:
at the house of a student of bandoneon at the rotterdam conservatorium
(dept. of world music, division 'tango') was broken in last weekend ... and, among
others, his bandoneon was stolen!

underneath I will forward his message together with the pledge to help find
the instrument back!
please be very carefull and alert if someone is going to offer you to buy a
bandoneon.
this also counts for online auctions as eBay and alikes!

Last friday a bandoneon has been stolen from his owner's home in
Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
If anyone of those around here or in the surroundings happens to
know of a bandoneon for sale somewhere which looks like the one here
described, please contact us.

Hello everybody,

I would like to inform everybody that the night from friday to
saturday December, 5 to 6 people broke in my house and stole my
BANDONEON (the little Argentinian accordion used at the wedding of
Willem Alexander and Maxima) and my FLUTE. I am a student at the World
Music Department of the Rotterdams Conservatorium, Kruisplein 26, 3012
CC ROTTERDAM (010.2171100)

Here a description of both my instruments for in case you know about
sombody that trys to sale one of the two.

-- Bandonesn:
Builder: Alfred Arnold (doble A)
Colour: brown plain wood
Colour of the ballow: black and bordeaux red
Decorations: on the corners some are broken
The metal name plate is not on top of the airhole
darkbrown leather straps, old
In black case
Inside:
reperations in the corners with grey tape
the inside of the air... has 3 fethers instead of the usual 2

-- Flute:
Yamaha silver flute
model 581YLF
in black wooden case with lether around

Please help me by keeping you re eyes open. ..
