Subject: Tango marathons

It was great to hear Robin's note about how much fun he had in Washington
D.C. at the marathon weekend they had recently. These relatively low-key,
inexpensive events really do help bring whole regions, even whole countries
(continents?) together to dance like crazy. Dancing 30 hours in a weekend
means that we get WAY into tango, just totally immersing ourselves into our
dance. It always amazes me how much stress-free, positive human energy can
be created by these events. It is definitely true that there is a constant
flow of energy up and down the US west coast, and this traveling tango
family seems to get together every few months for a huge blowout of epic
proportions.

Thanks to the people who organize these all-night milongas and marathon
weekends or extended weekends, we get to experience uncommonly energized
dancing in a low-key, comfortable, affordable atmosphere - THANK YOU!

Dan
