Hi Jay
Richard's online guide is great, but with multiple events per evening some more info about what you want would be good for recommendations.
I know nothing about you so please don't read anything into this.
Some of these questions are a bit, well... but if you want to have a good time in NYC, it's advisable to choose well.
Are you over a certain age, or under it?
Do you have a ponytail and cargopants? Or are you more a shirt and slacks kinda guy?
Do you want to compete for the hot chicks or do you want to dance with people, period?
Do you have any objection to being rammed, jostled and crashed into?
Does alternative tango drive you onto the floor or up the wall?
Do you like live music?
Are you a tango music gourmet (meaning, you insist on Excellent classic selections above other considerations)
Which week are you going, and do you plan to dance every night?
I'm sure based on what you are looking for, I and the good people on this list can make a few suggestions.
Best regards
Tine (in Connecticut but I dance in New York regularly)
