I drive a truck in all 48 states, and Canada. Getting
to a computer is not often easy,or convenient. I would
REALLY appreciate if one and all,no matter how remote
nor how small, would send me an e: mail with : your
e:mail + telephone number/s which I can call if I
might be in your area. If you have REGULAR
milongas/practicas,please let me know. Your location
will also help, and some idea where I might park an
18-wheeler reasonably close to where you hold your
events. As much information as you can give me will be
greatly appreciated. I am familiar with
Philadelphia,Denver(Fort Collins/Colorado
Springs/Boulder),Atlanta GA (somewhat!),Chicago,Ames
IA. I also DJ,and occasionally even have up to 200
tango CDs with me.Hoping to hear from you.To avoid
plugging up the tango-l website, please can you reply
to me at : Barrio_de_Tango_1943@yahoo.com - thank
you! Best wishes, and great dancing to you all. David Stevens.

This guy formerly posted to tango-l advertising a milonga he was promoting.
I wriote a polite reply to suggest he should post to tanog-a instead. He
wrote
back to say that he already knew about tango-a, but he is a businessman
and will post to anywhere there is a remote chance of getting a response.
(Not the exact words, but I didn't save the msg.) That is my definition
of a spammer (athough I used a different word when I replied to that msg..
So take this for what it is worth when you think about providing him with
you phone # and email address.
And David, if you come to Oakland or San Francisco I have a good place
for you to park your 18-wheeler. We call it San Francisco Bay.

Frustrated with dial-up? Get high-speed for as low as $29.95/month
(depending on the local service providers in your area).

Whoops, looks like I hosed up on that last one a little.
Some persons were making a big deal about my name, and several persons
were suggesting that I use an alias on tango-l. So I made this account,
but on the last post I was confused about the account I was on and
signed my name "Farkyu". But my warning is true - it is just a warning
so take if for whatever it is worth.
