The number of those who advertise themselves as teaching tango milonguero or
milonguero style in Buenos Aires is growing along with the demand. It is
unfortunate that dancers actually believe they are learning tango milonguero

>from teachers who have never studied or danced with a milonguero.

At the beginning of the year I had the opportunity to partner a teacher
friend from Milan, Italy, who wanted to learn how to teach milonga traspie.
She decided to study with a milonguero who was very generous with his time
and gave her what she needed in a couple hours.

This week I have been partnering another teacher friend from Mexico City who
is going to begin teaching tango milonguero at the university. She is
studying with the same milonguero who is giving her everything she needs to
prepare her course. She had several tandas with him in the milongas, and he
invited her last night for an asado with his family.

I have danced with this milonguero over the past ten years in Buenos Aires.
He has never had the opportunity to travel anywhere to teach tango, but he
has his passport. His name is Pedro Sanchez.

If anyone wants to learn tango milonguero, the best way is in privates with
one of the few milongueros who teach: Beto Ayala, Roberto "Pocho" Carreras,
Osvaldo Centeno, Roberto Angel Pujol, and Pedro Sanchez.

The problem is these dancers don't have access to check their teacher's
name appears on the List of All Who Have Ever Danced With A Milonguero.

Since you Janis clearly have access to this List - since how else could
you know these teachers are /not/ on it - would you please help everyone
by telling where The List can be inspected?
