November is proving to be a very popular month for tango tourists in Buenos
Aires. People are finding that the apartment they want to rent is already
booked. Or the tango guesthouse where they want to stay is full. Even a
recommended hotel is booked during their stay. This was certainly not the
situation two years ago after 9/11 when no one was traveling anywhere.

This is a popular time for tango tourists to come to Buenos Aires. And this
will continue through March. It's a good idea to make your lodging
reservation as soon as you know your travel dates. Tourism to Buenos Aires
is strong because of the exchange rate.

December 11 is Dia del Tango and the city always sponsors a week of free
concerts, milongas, and classes. They also sponsor a milonga in Corrientes
with orchestras which has to be the largest dance in the world and takes
place during the last week in December.
