Subject: unnatural dancing?
To follow Robin's, comment, I believe that Tango can be danced anywhere, to
any music, with anyone willing.
I do a little swing from time to time, and without saying much, I take my
partner into tango - even if she doesn't know it. 3 out of 4 times, it
works.
Dance is just one language - connection, floor, and music. I ask you this:
If you can't dance with anyone in the room, even a new person, is your
dancing natural? Who are you dancing for, your partner or the people
watching?
I prefer Milonguero because it is so seamless and transparent. It is simple
to follow if allowances are made by the leader and the follower is willing
to take some risks. I danced beautifully with 5 new dancers last night -
all in milonguero style, and there were terrific followers with the right
attitude for dance. Wine helps.

I though I was dancing 'til somebody stepped on my fingers ;-)
