We live in a warm sub-tropical climate and most men wear an open neck or
polo shirt to casual milongas. Last week a guy turned up to a milonga in a
sleveless T, no doubt straight from Salsa class. Maybe I am getting stuffy,
but watching him contributed to spoiling the night for me.

John, why slam the salsa dancers? I've had a guy who only dances tango (not
too well) show up at a milonga with a sleevless shirt. Salsa dancers usually
dress to impress, IMHO it's totally uncool to stereotype people, worse yet,
with gartuitous and innaccurate slurs.

No slur intended. It's just a very different dance and so its traditions and
manners are quite different, but I'm glad for another opinion.
