The title is a little tongue-in-cheek, as is the next sentence. Is there a guru, RT_search_engine, claytablets or ?, where real tango is defined (in stone?)? Every Wed night here in Portland, we have a mixed-music milonga. Almost no music is older than 30 years I would say & is quite eclectic. Gotan does indeed get played as well as a wide variety of other music: rap/hiphop, Color Tango, Amelie_soundtrack, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder & a lot more. I'll keep track of what gets played tonight & post later. ok, off to work... 2 dude's electric...r
