Subject: Mark Celaya

Recently, our dear friend and wonderful dance partner,
Mark Celaya, who brought a whole new meaning
to Tango in Los Angeles with THE VERY BEST Friday Night
Milonga and THE FINEST resourse for tango music
throughout the world, was stricken with Lymphoma
Type B--a very treatable and curable form of cancer.

He has been undergoing chemotheraphy and will
be back on his "dancing feet" by the end of this year.
However, during his treatment time, he has been
unable to dance, DJ or run a milonga, so his
income has been severly hampered by this unfortunate
turn of events.

LA's Tango Community promoters have generously offered to
sponsor a benefit Milonga for Mark on Thursday evening
May 9th at the Milonga de Naifas, at the Westside
Jewish Community Center, 5870 W. Olympic Blvd.,
from 8 pm to 1 am. There will be Guest Performances by
Local and International Artists and many surprises.
Donation to this worthwhile cause will be $25.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO MARK to help with his expenses.

We hope everyone who has enjoyed Mark's music and
contributions to the growth of Tango in Los Angeles
will be able to join us for this very special event.

You can also help Mark by visiting his website:
www.classictango.com and ordering some fabulous music
for your enjoyment. His email address and phone number
are on the website, if you want to speak with him.
He'll be happy to hear from his friends and well wishers from
around the world!
