Has anyone seen "Burnt Money" directed by Marcelo Piqeyro? I saw the
trailer, which had a tango in the background.

Yes, I've seen "Plata quemada". In fact, I have a copy
of it on DVD.

The movie is based on a true stoy and takes place in
the mid-60's. A couple of handsome gay guys are
involved in a bank robbery that doesn't go well and
they escape to Uruguay.

Stars Spanish actor Eduardo Noriega, who stared w/
Penelope Cruz in "Abre los ojos" (the Spanish movie
which inspired "Vanilla Sky" w/ Tom Cruise and
Penelope Cruz).

Also stars Leonardo Sbaraglia, who stared in "Tango
feroz" (another Pin~eyro movie) and "La noche de los
lapices", an Hector Olivera movie about 7 high school
students who were detained during the "Dirty War" (6
of them were killed).

Worth seeing.
