I have seen multiple Tango charity events.

John Kerry himself said that he would like to learn to Tango.

I personally like the "auction off dances with the teachers" is a good
event. Not only do you to support a good cause, but you get something that
quite a few people want to do but feel intimidated from doing. ("I can't
ask him, he is so good and traditionally men ask the women", or "I can't ask
her, she is the TEACHER")
