Hello everybody:
Just a quick question, is it possible to dance in close embrace with
a woman that is about 3-4 inches taller than you?
I always find it difficult and it doesn't look good. Is there some
special hold to do it? Expert advise please!

I am no expert at all on this, but I once had to dance with a Japanese lady
whose height reached up my chin during a workshop with Jorge Torres. She had
to lead me, since she is good at that and I am not.
Jorge watched us very carefully for a few moments, then he warned her:" You
have to wait for her to find her own balance and steady herself. Do not try
to support her, because she will make you loose your elegance if you do
this."
Not very flattering, but yes, it is indeed an exercise in balance to have
yourself be lead by someone that small.

I
II would like to add the same question (just the other way round): is
there a special technique to dance close embrace with someone
who is almost a head's length taller than you? Thanks.
