<< Hi Timmy,
I want to thank you for a WONDERFUL weekend workshop! The instruction,
the hospitality and the participants were all fabulous.

The workshop provided us with 3 days of intense individualized
instruction, like a group private lesson, on the finer points of Apilado
style tango from, in my opinion, one of the best instructors this side
of Buenos Aires, Robert Hauk. Robert's insights into how and why this
style works and his encyclopedic knowledge of the music, are totally
unique. His warm, engaging, humorous presentation of the information is
also part of what makes him such a great instructor.

Hosting the workshop in your home, was also what made it such a success.
You opened your home to 20 people and turned it into a Tango Academy for
the weekend. The fact that you limited this workshop to 20 people
allowed you to create an atmosphere of intimacy that promoted the most
intensity I have ever experienced in a workshop. There were times that
we could have heard a pin drop because we were so concentrated on what
Robert was saying and there were times that we were all drifting in the
tango "zone" as the dance floor seemed to get larger and larger as we
exercised our new-found knowledge that tango can be danced in a VERY
small circle and be an absolutely wonderful dance! It's a fantastic
idea - being able to completely immerse yourself in tango in the comfort
of a home environment! Many of us began the workshop as strangers, but
we left the weekend with beautiful new friendships and great new dance
partners from all over the area!

The "energy" created in the group was so strong it was palpable when you
approached the front door. We carried that energy with us to the milonga
Saturday night and infused it into all the dancers there!

Bravo!! Let's do it AGAIN - SOON!!

Thanks,

Barb
