Dear Bibi, A list member wrote >Tango ... is also a dance of artistic

If that is the case, I guess I must first develop romantic and
passionate
relationship with EVERY male dancer I have ever or will dance with.
Then
may be after that, I can generate artistic interpretation, musicality
and
connection. <grin> I was talking about the natural feelings that normally get generated between a man and a woman in the course of a dance. Provided, of course, the dance is going well and they get along. As we all know, romantic and passionate feelings often do get started without being involved or in love. I dance with many female friends (who are only friends) and we do get those feelings. Of course, well executed moves help mainly because they do not distract from the connection, musicality and passion of the dance. Try it sometime! You'll like it!! Perhaps I am missing something. Perhaps you can tell me what that is. Perhaps there is something else that artistic interpretation depends on in addition to romance and passion. But I have always thought of tango being one of romance and passion as well as obsession and magic. I don't think it can be the mechanical moves can it?<Grins to you too!!!>
Tango is not just a series of mechanical moves.<
Contrarily, many times I found myself doing non-musical aerobic
excercise
with male dancers <grin> Yes. Tango CAN just be a series of mechanical moves. But is it really tango? Or just a series of mechanical moves that have no right to be called tango. Well executed moves are a must but so is artistic interpretation.<More grins to you!>
Something is missing in this picture.... I hope I filled in the missing something in this picture. Have I missed anything else? Warm RegardsTango Guy
