There's a tradition of men wearing skirts in Contra dancing.
Its quite refreshing & comfortable.
I saw Andrew Burt wearing a short skirt here in Portland,
so I got my contra skirt out one night. Also noticed a sarong
on a guy not too long ago...
.
PS: Alberto mentioned Orquestra Fernandez Fierro in a recent
posting. Alex Kerbs loaned me their latest CD: "Destruccion Masiva".
He said there one of the hottest band in Buenos Aires right now; sounds
great for dancing.

For those interested check out: https://www.utilikilts.com . These are kilts
for manly men ;-). I can see them with motorcycle boots or Doc Martens.. but
not sure how they would look with dance shoes on. Maybe I will have to order
one and find out. Some of the dances here in Atlanta get so hot that it
would be refreshing.
