Dear friends,
"Por H o por B"' - In Argentina the H and the B in this very
popular expression stand for anything you may wish to substitute the letters
for.
In some way the X and the Y may stand for different elements in mathematics.
Ex. : Por h o por b, ella se las ingenia siempre para llegar tarde.
Be it for h or for b, the fact is that she is always late. She always
finds some excuse to arrive late.
In the above example H or B stand for a number of possible excuses.
Best regards, Sergio.

Thank you to all who responded. It has been very
educational, and more interesting than the endless
debates on tango style.
