Dear friends I write everyday in Spanish so I have selected to have the
"Spanish Argentina -keyboard" always available. see below

In first place the word "Porten`o" means only one thing : Inhabitant of the
city of Buenos Aires, in a reference to the fact that the city has the
biggest port of the country . The word comes then from Port - Porten`o. It
is interesting to see that other countries like Chile for example use the
same word in reference to the inhabitants of their big port city : So in
Chile "Porten`o" means inhabitant of Valparaiso.

Tango is the dance of the city of Buenos Aires (and Montevideo), even when
it may be danced in other cities. So one can say that Porten`os dance their
tango.

Going back to the keyboard:

The problem is that tango-L will not reproduce foreign signs correctly.

When you use a tilde ~ or an accent, or any other foreign sign it will be
automatically changed to something else

Something like " Let's" will look like " Let4s" - Salon with an accent
on the o will be transformed into Salmn, etc.

Here some real examples: I will use my Argentinean Key board :

Salsn - Porteqo - maqana - i wrote Salon with accent on the o - and
Porteno and manana with the tilde on the n. Will see how it comes out.

The letters are situated in a different place when you use another language
keyboard.

The first letters line of the French keyboard will be as follows:

a z e r t y u i o p ^ $ * * as you can see the a and z are placed
differently in our American keyboard.




To do that you can do the following: Open the following windows:

Control Panel
Date, time, language and regional options
Add other languages - Advanced tab - Add Spanish Argentina

When you add another languages you can change your keyboard back and forth
from English USA to the other ones by pressing Shift+Alt at the same time or
else by selecting the language from your Task bar (bottom right).

This will allow to write the correct accents, tildes, umlaut, cedille, etc
(signs used in other languages) and they will be reproduced correctly as
long as you do not send it to Tango-L.
