Richard: Fresedo's is indeed the better version, it rescues the score. Roberto Rey, the
singer in the Fresedo version is IMO a very gifted musician and although the tone of his
voice is a little too high pitched (at least to these ears) his musicianship more than
makes up for it. Too bad that he comes in almost when the tango is about to end. Are
there any better versions of this tango or did it die an untimely death?
