Someone asked if there is any one new coming from BsAs teaching tango.

I have never seen everyone in Cleveland so excitement thanks to Oscar Casas
and maryann Henderson.

I feel this was the best workshop that I have ever hosted. Oscar is so
flamboyant and fun to be around. His instruction is so clear and what he does is so
easy. He helps everyone to dance with freedom from cheorgraphy. Just listen to
the music and open your heart and move.

All the ladies felt like they were floating when they danced with him.

We are bringing them back on August 15 thru 21
Pittsburgh is also going to host them. And Ann Arbor would like to host them
for one night. Ray Barbosa from Chicago said they knocked his socks off, they
were so great.

Oscar and Mary Ann are extremely close with Ricardo Vidort who is in very bad
health at the moment, and they came to take his place in the workshop. I'm so
lucky they stepped in and helped us out.

I can't say enough about this couple.
They are in Toronto at the moment. Go see them.

I had originally planned to go to Cleveland this past weekend because I heard so many great things about Ricardo Vidort. Because of illiness Ricardo was not going to be able to make it to Cleveland, but Timmy Tango invited Oscar and Mary Ann Casas to Cleveland in place of Ricardo.

I decided to still go to Cleveland in any event, especially after Timmy had come to the Chicago Mini Tango Festival. It ended up being a fantastic weekend of tango in Cleveland. I absolutely pleasantly surprised by the milonguero concepts taught by Oscar and Mary Ann Casas. As I say, "they taught nothing, but I learned alot". The concepts they teach are concepts that remain with you and will help take your dance to the next level.

In addition to the Casas, Saturday evening turned out to be fantastic. There was a concert by the fabulous quintet of Eternal Tango, led by bandeonist Hector Curtin. Following the concert there was a fabulous live milonga with Eternal Tango.

Don't miss the opportunity to work with Oscar and Mary Ann Casas. They live in Toronto and you can have the opportunity to meet them in Toronto during the Toronto Tango Festival in June. If you want to work with them in the States make sure to contact Arnie Brody in Pittsburgh or Timmy Tango in Cleveland for more information regarding the Casas visit to these cities in August.

Take care,

Ray Barbosa
